This course prepares individual’s on how to respond when a medical emergency happens to infants or children in a non-hospital environment. In completion with this course, you will receive a 2 year AHA Pediatric CPR, AED & First Aid certificate of completion card, which meets with the state requirements for EMSA.
What does this course offer?
This CPR course teaches Pediatric CPR skills which include giving correct depth of compressions on infants and children while giving breaths or using artificial ventilation. You will also be taught how to use an automated external defibrillator correctly, and how to help an infant or child victim who is choking. Lastly you will be taught the first aid basics such as controlling bleeding injuries, managing internal bleeding, allergic reactions, and much more.
